First I'll start this long catch up post with a Magnolia from the new summer range, I also used sweeties sketch don't forget entries need to be in in 3 days... next is a Morehead image how sweet are these stamps, gorgeous just love them.... a baby girl card....
Now on to Paper tole cards which I also like to do when not stamping and colouring ...

Creatalicious and Mini RAK challenges

At Uproar there is a mini RAK challenge and we have a host that sends out the same RAK to all on the list this month Corrine was the host and she sent the perfect criteria for Creatalicious challenge so this is for both....

This month's challenge at the new blog challenge site is fathers day and you have to include something metal and brown on your creation.. It is interesting how we all have the same products but create completly different cards... when everyone has the cards up I'll put a link so you can see what I mean...

kaiser card sketch comp

i entered the kaisercraft card sketch challenge I'm just waiting to see who won as its announced this afternoon......

This is my version of the sketch Using Loire Valley stamps and papers....

Oh well missed out on winning this time, there were some gorgeous entries on the blog...

Wahoo!!! My card made top 3 .

This time the challenge was to make a fathers day card so here it is.....

I used Summer Edwin sitting on the bridge deck, tree is cut out with the slice, I used basic grey pp, and GT flowers....

Kellies sketch challenge #2

Isn't he just adorable I got a hold of some Morehead stamps, they are the most adorable images.. I have 3d him up, and used basic grey pp, coloured him in with SU and marvy markers on watercolour paper and aquapen....

This last week I have been catching up with this months ATC's I joined up with the Darkroom Door swap this month if you want to join in click on the link in the sidebar but you will need to have them back by the 31st Aug..... The swap at Debs this month was shabby chic (if unsure what shabby chic is here is a link http://www.scrapvillage.com/shabbychic.htm that may help explain)

I used DCWV pp, lace, stamped images forget brand name, pearls
the swap at uproar was splash of colour still have to make another 6 of these ones I had to paint up some more paper to cut the swirls out of...

this is the family and friends swap I had to choose the theme this month and I chose buttons and lace... and the image I used is a Sugar Nellie stamp and ran the cs through the bug..

Please welcome into my stamping family two cute little girls. This is a sarah kay image I bought from Bizzy becs isn't she adorable, I have coloured her in using marvy markers, SU markers and inks and have added some flowersoft to her basket of flowers...

This little cutie pie is Anya and she comes from Marcia at the stamp spot, she is coloured in using marvy and SU markers, with kindy glitz added to wings and skirt, i also used DCWV pp.

On the weekend there was a cybercrop at Debs and Corrine set a challenge to make 3 cards using the same image, but the cards had to have different techniques and to look different... I used a tim holtz stamp and for the pink one I stamped my own background and used flowersoft and 3d the butterflies on the image, the brown one I have distressed all pp in background and added mesh and flowers... the 3rd card I have stamped the images on acetate and reversed one of them and used the radiant rain daubers for the background behind the images, than ran the pp through the bug..

This month I had to choose the theme for the local group swap so I picked hearts and remembered the other day I had this cute Bizzy Bec stamp and I got some flower soft to try out so stuck some of that onto the little heart....

Sweeties card Sketch August

I just love shell's card sketch this month I have made 3 cards and good intentions to do more.. as have a few more idea's running around this head of mine just haven't got around to sticking them on the paper yet..... the first one I made I was playing with some new stamps not sure I like it much but a good boy card for someone..........
the 2nd one I just love as it has a magnolia baby stamp and intentions of doing a boy card the same just haven't got around to it yet.... I also used kaiser and basic grey pp's, flowers and ribbon

The 3rd card so far is a wedding card using bits and pieces I have in my stash...

new sketch challenges are up

I was very excited about this months DT sketches as I loved both Shell's and Gayatri's and couldn't wait to show and tell. So first up is Scrapawayg3sketches challenge..I have used the Loire valley stamps from Kaiser, scrappy cat vine stamp, bg pp, sei pp, ribbon, pearls and string.

Hope you give this month challenges a go you have till the end of the month to do it....
