Here are a few challenge entries I done last week only just getting around to uploading now.. the first one I made for the copic oz challenge - summertime but I was a bit late to upload as it closed before I got to enter it.... the second was for farm fresh Friday challenge at The Greeting Farm make it POP so I paper pieced and layered grandpa up..

More baby cards

I've been busy making a few more baby cards to sell I thought some twin cards were in order as I know quite a few have been born around this district so must be something in the water.. I rolled out a few extra rows  of the baby onesies suits  its a stampin up roller wheel the large sized one from the current catalogue... when I made the atc's below

Last week I got my Emerald Faeries out to play and made a set of 4 using Black embossed cardstock and red kaisercraft pp, using both the Neg and Positive sides of  the Nellie Snellen die cut to make the frames. The faeries are coloured up with copics and stickles added. Sentiments are all from Stampin Up.

Little Mermaid and hugs...

I have been playing with my Magnolia's again and coloured up 3 mermaids and brother & sister hugs and I put the cards together yesterday.

 I have got my little Tilda's out to play this first one I did do before xmas for a challenge that was put up on Debscreations it involved fruit so got out apple Tilda and friend coloured up with copics

For this one I made the window from a scrap of cs that I cut out a spellbinder shape from and I ran it through the bug with embossing folder and inked it up added flowersoft and 2 different Mag stamps, lace and dsp

BB Challenge - Recipe

My first challenge done for 2011 is one set by Bizzy Bec's store blog and its a recipe challenge of 3 flowers, 2 buttons and 1 ribbon... I have watercoloured with distress inks and the brides dress is moonlight smooch..

So I will just have to tell you and send Marcia a little something as she was the only one to leave a comment and had a good guess and very observant but not the right answer

The answer was that Tilda was coloured up using different mediums which might of been a bit difficult to pick up from photographs.. Here is what I used I decided to try out all the different things I have bought on my colouring journey and see the different effects of each one..

By far my favourite medium as it seems to be less work then the other methods I just need lots more practice to get my blending and  shading or light source methods as some of my favourite bloggers go check out Zoe's colouring she works magic with her copics..



Distress inks I need work in this area as it seems streaky to me ... I have stamped and heat embossed Tilda first on watercolour paper 300gsm weight so its nice and thick

Water colour pencils and a distress ink face and skin colours as the skin colour in the pencils was rather pale and I didn't like it much, again I have heat embossed Tilda on 300gsm WC paper..

Last is Twinkling H2O's I do like the finish when using these as they have a lovely shimmer, again I have used distress ink to do the skin and heat embossed on WC paper....

So after all that I still think the copics will get the most use so now I just need to get some more pennies and buy some more colours I have about half the ciao colour range but really need to get some refils to freshen up some of the colours I do have..

They all look the same as I've used the same cardstock and DSP from DCWV Mariposa stack and I've used the same Tilda image so can you tell what the difference is???

Some of my last creations for 2010

I don't usually put my Layouts on this blog but I wanted to show you the cute stamps I included on these ones.. I have also put up a present I made for my DD and put in her christmas parcel (survival kit).

Samuel - I have used a TGF forest friend stamp coloured up with copics.. and looking at this LO now the bottom flower is annoying me and would move it down a bit to where the ribbon starts.... but mum now owns it so it will have to stay..

my entry into the Hostess with the Mostest TGF challenge a box of chocies with tag.

The survival kit I revamped a box I bought from Go-Lo and made it pretty with a Magnolia stamp and Christina Re papers the spots are silver foil the reverse side of that paper is the black and white Tilda is on.. some bling, lace, and other bits and pieces.
