Popcorn has come out to play

I have been neglecting poor ol' Popcorn and Soufle the duck I haven't inked him up a great deal since I have gotten some copics ..... So with the arrival of Popcorn into Debscreations last week I decided to bring him out to play.

Along with Tilda I made that card some time last week..

MDU Challenge

It's been a while since I done a challenge at MDU so I thought DISTRESSING would be a good one to join in on...
here is what I came up with.. using another new stamp (I did buy it before xmas though only just got it).

Tilda sitting in a rocking chair (alota  rubber stamp) and coloured up with copics, websters dsp, distressed with HS distresser around the edges of the dsp and also TH distress ink  inked around the edges....

I've tried to be a good and not buy too many stamps so far this year but I couldn't resist Marcia's sale at the Stamp Spot the other day and here are the cutie's I picked up for a great price.. Marcia has sold the SS and the new owner will be taking over soon.

Isn't she just the cutest little fairy I bought it a while back(from Mo's digital pencil) but have only just coloured it up as I badly need ink for the printer so I went and used mum's yesterday to print up a few images to colour..

DebsCreations DT challenge

To Welcome the Newbies to the DT over at Debscreations Deb set an awesome challenge for the DT to make a fry box but as I have no ink in my printer atm.. I used a bought noodle box as a template and cut one out from Kaisercraft paper.. and coloured up my Emerald Faeries to decorate some are from digi images I already had printed up and one of the Larakins on the side I used rubber and stamped it up with my trusty Memento ink pad and I coloured  them in with copics..

With Sympathy

Yesterday was a sad day :( as we went to one of my Uncles funeral.. so I borrowed mum's SU stamp set and made some cards one for mum to use and one for myself the others are spares as this is the first time I've made sympathy cards.. so I kept them simple and used blues and white tones.. with the embossing folders..

A first

The first time I've entered in a Sweetpea challenge - it's Glitz & Glamour I have a bit of a collection of sweetpea stamps and have followed the challenge blog for a while and I was colouring up these images and thought I may as well enter.. I have used copics to colour and BG dsp, with DCWV and SU cardstocks, bling, ribbon and kindy glitz..

It's a 2 card set I may make a couple more as I still have some of the BG papers left ..

I didn't know if I was going to fit everything on my card but once I got it all out it came together this morning, I coloured up the image last night.

Inking some older stamps up

Some stamps I brought last year and have just inked up and made the card to go with it, sometimes when I get a new stamp I do ink it up and colour in but don't always get around to carding them, so I will try and do that this year to ink and card up some of these stamps I already own and limit the new ones coming into my collection.. which is going to be hard as have you seen all the new releases - especially my favs Magnolia's..
