With Sympathy

Yesterday was a sad day :( as we went to one of my Uncles funeral.. so I borrowed mum's SU stamp set and made some cards one for mum to use and one for myself the others are spares as this is the first time I've made sympathy cards.. so I kept them simple and used blues and white tones.. with the embossing folders..

Baby cards using the baby Tee wheel from stampin up in both boy and girl versions. One of the onesies is 3d up but you can't pick it in the photo's... I have coloured in with copics in all the cards below..

 I've got a few new stamps to play with they are from Debscreations shop, have you been to visit there lately a real rubber/stampers paradise lots of companies to choose from these are from the new Magnolia cozy collection.. Deb has very exciting things happening over the next couple of months so stay tuned in to find out what they are...

Queen of cards 2nd challenge

The next challenge is up at Debscreations its been up for about a week now and it is to use Wags 'n whiskars stamp and create a matching card and favour box.. Here is the favour box



and the card the frame is made using Nellie Snellen die cuts

both together I also used Stampin' up dsp, the image is coloured with copics... and the instruction to make the favour box are here.(you will need to register first I think).

Lotsa cards to share

Here's one I done some time last week using a Sarah Kay image and MME pp coloured in with distress ink (vintage photo) and SU for the skin I done this one the same night I think it's a Whiff of joy image and paper from the same pad with punchies flowers and other bits.

This is one I done last night using some new things I got to play with, that being flowersoft stamp and the ultrafine flowersoft and I think I like to use it more then the original fsoft and the dsp is from SU in the new mini catalogue..

Here is another photocard I finished off last night too..

I better go now and clear up the dinner dishes before I go and finish some more cards off tonight..

I just love my baby bunny

I just love him so much I've coloured him up in 4 different colours and made 3 cards and a note holder.... Debscreations will be stocking another fabulous brand..yipee!!

and I've just put an order in for some new Kraftin Kimmie stamps so watch this space some time next week.. Here is bunny in blue on a window card with Bella butterfly pp on the inside. and prima flowers(I've had in my stash for a while)
Here is bunny in red and in the rose garden.... I also used SU stamps, butterfly punch and sizzix die cut grass

Now bunny in pink in the flowersoft garden with fence stamp I got off ebay so unsure of who makes it.. also SU stamp and butterfly punch.

and finally bunny coloured in sage(SU) inks on a post-it-note holder..

MDUC - stitches/sewing

For this weeks challenge you had to have sewing on your card/project my jagged sewing is on the top of the blossom spellbinder cutout... I made it like that so it matches the paper(dcwv)
I have also used SU stamp for the basecard which is heat embossed with versa and clear powder.. the MUM is stamped with kaiser letters on canvas paper...

I've made a window card....

this is the inside of the card I have put in a journal box since taking the photo and it is under the acetate window. I have used a sarah kay stamp and stampin up dsp and cardstock. I have used a kraftin kimmie stamp and SU dsp,


I tried to make a wobble card with this one only It didn't wobble it flopped so I put a brad into it and thought it would be a good idea if you wanted a present topper...

Playing with some new SU stamps and inks I just love the large background stamp I won it on ebay as it is retired canvas back or karen calls it flyscreen...lol!

I made these atc's for the darkroom door B&W + red swap hope they make it in time I only posted them on Wed and they need to be there by tommorrow...sigh!

This fortnights challenge is VALENTINES I don't usually do the valentine thing.. but my nan's birthday was on this day ........

how cute is the little bear I won a set of older SU ones on ebay and got them in the mail yesterday so had to have a play with them as well...

a case of the blues

Yesterday afternoon I sat down and made 3 blue cards for the Magnolia one I stamped the base card with kaisercraft flourish stamp only after going through my piles of patterned paper and not finding what I was looking for that is how I come to make the 3 cards..
I made the background paper for this one while trying to find something for the one above but the script paper i made just didn't go with it..

Then this is from a card kit that G3 posted me sometime last year.. which I found while rumaging through the papers

I just added the blue ribbon, and white diecuts behind the thank you and the script paper that I stamped out.. The upsy daiseys are embossed

I made these 2 on Tuesday crop night, I had no idea what I wanted to do so didn't pack much and ended up making some cards with supplies I bought from karen.. the cs and pp.On this card I used a stampin up image, kaiser pp, bella ribbon
